The MP3 & AVI Wristwatch and Video Camera (WVC) is a marvel of miniature engineering, combining both a video camera and a player that uses the gorgeous 1.8in TFT screen to show off AVI and 3GP videos you’ve shot yourself or downloaded. It even plays back your audio tracks too!
As well as being a full-functioned, stylish wristwatch for the discerning geek, the WVC (that full name’s just too long, eh?) has a 1.3mp lens nestled on the bezel just above that beautiful screen.
Hit the snap button and the still shots go straight into the 2GB of onboard flash memory. Alternatively, switch to video mode and start laying down discreet vids on the sly (we prefer to be open about it, but just keep it legal, K?).
And there’s even more – use the USB connection to throw on e-books or JPEG images and view those on the screen too. To save the battery, there’s an auto power-off function as well.
Battery life for the internal li-ion cell (it recharges while connected to your PC, natch) is around two hours, while the timekeeping mechanism uses a regular watch battery.
Other supported file formats include MP1, MP2, MP4, WMA and WAV. That last one’s the voice-recorder format – oh, didn't we mention that nice little extra yet? You know you want it!
